The hub fosters better connections between local businesses, provides community access to local produce and serves as a popular new destination on the food tourism circuit.
It is an ongoing project: Phase 1, completed in 2017, retrofitted the existing buildings to provide six commercial food production units, a brewery and a market hall operating a monthly food festival for local producers. Phase 2 is currently on site with additional production units, a cafe, and a fitness centre. Phase 3 will see the creation of a glazed atrium, serving as additional café, market, and events space.
