Our clients made these cardboard WC and sink to mock up the space in a small bathroom…
We’ve been working as architect for Bowhouse in Fife, where the most recent Food Production units are complete and looking lovely in the summer sunshine.
We are always looking for opportunities to add value to projects through design. This simple barrier, to protect people coming out of Bowhouse farm buildings near where cars drive, could have been something boring and standard. With some design thought we referenced the old cowsheds in this farm steading and hopefully made something beautiful.
We’re delighted to have won an RIAS Award for 2022. One of only 8 national awards for architecture.

We’re really proud that our fabric first approach to retention of the existing buildings has been recognised as an innovative and sustainable approach to the climate crisis.
There are scales of eco-friendly housing – this one is on the extremely eco end. Collaborating with www.alltenvironmental.com on this significant refurbishment, alteration and energy retrofit.
It is also a huge change aesthetically and we’re excited about both.
Really pleased that our Lockerbie Sawmill for James Jones and Sons has been recognised and shortlisted for an RIAS and RIBA Architecture Award 2022.
One of 14 Scottish projects by some great architects.
This project is very sustainable, built almost entirely in timber from the mill site, super insulated, with air source heating and sequestering at least 70tonnes of Carbon in the construction.
