Our Christmas cards went this week. Lots of research and testing by Makiko. We are using these folding techniques to design a garden office and a chicken coop.

KGA are proud to announce that the V&A has invited us together with DO Architecture from Glasgow and Kennedy Twaddle from London / Dundee to give the V&A at Dundee‘s annual keynote address. Part of the Ignite Festival in Dundee on 19th May. The 2011 lecture was given by Kengo Kuma.
We were invited to submit a proposal for a 5000m2 office building in Geneva. The site was complicated with a North frontage and surrounded by a mix of housing, office and light industrial buildings. Our proposal was to make a deep timber frame with a mix of timber and glass infill to soften the building. This image by the fantastic Jonathan Knox of Pixogram.

How do you place a modern extension onto an asymmetric 1970’s house?
Our answer was to ignore that problem and solve a different problem: How to give more height to the ground floor extension when there is a flat roof balcony 2.5m above…
I like our solution (the steps point at the amazing view) and this was done in 6 hours proving we can tailor our services to your requirements!
