Trinity Extension and Refurbishment

This project was for the extension and refurbishment of a 1854 listed building with fantastic views North over the River Forth.

More than 70% of the work is in refurbishing, upgrading and reorganising the existing building which is being re-wired, replumbed and reorganised with an extra bedroom squeezed in upstairs.

The extension is highly insulated with Scottish timber cladding, aluminium cladding and an eccentric gull wing roof planted with flowering sedum and a large glass roof opening. Large fixed glass openings open up the space to the garden to the East and to the view to the North.

The extension forms a new kitchen, dining and day space with a small utility room. Insulated to Passiv Haus standards the new room forms a cosy living space in what is otherwise an exposed North facing site.
