Last site visit to listed building alteration project for which we were the architect; St Andrews in the Kingdom of Fife.

Talk at 57°10

Friday 13th

Friday 13th wasn’t inauspicious for us as our cantilever steel balcony & stair clicked into place like a dream. Site install in St Andrews, Kingdom of Fife led by Johannes Sailer included Kieran + client!

Busy month: trip to Tokyo including visiting this Exhibition of work by Christian Kerez. A repeat of his Venice Biennale exhibition of 2012.

Royal Scottish Academy summer show

Royal Scottish Academy summer show opens tonight on the Mound in Edinburgh. Our three plaster maquettes in situ as of yesterday.

Danish brick

We just got back from the printers our first little book of work.

Edinburgh Architcture Association Awards submission today.

Scottish independence

The Architects Journal invited us to write a short piece on likely impact of independence on Scottish Architects.

And in same edition of the magazine comment on potential closing of Strathclyde University Architecture building.

Top Architects

Konishi Gaffney included in list of “Top Architects” in Scotland for 2013. We were pleased & surprised to be named in 11th place making us the top small practice in Edinburgh and the youngest practice in the top 20. Full article here.
